Bio

Dr. Katie Lee is an Assistant Professor, as well as the Clinical Education Coordinator, in the Masters of Science in Athletic Training Program. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from The Ohio State University in 2016 and became a certified athletic trainer. She received her Master of Art degree in Exercise and Sport Science - Athletic Training from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2018 while working as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with the women's soccer and women's tennis teams. Dr. Lee worked full time as an athletic trainer in the collegiate setting prior to returning to school to complete her Doctor of Philosophy in Exercise and Nutrition Sciences from Baylor University in 2025. Her research focuses on understanding the relationship between caffeine consumption and burnout among various high-risk populations including college athletic departments and first responders.
